Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress for Spanish films and television. Her roles included films like Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was a Madrid born in 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and the mother of her children, Pilar Sanchez is an artist. When she was just four years old, she started her first lessons in piano and began to practice ballet. She is fluent in English thanks to having an American-born best friend in her childhood. She enrolled in the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico following her graduation at high school. The third year of her studies she was studying the interpretation of texts and textual interpretation. In 2010, however she resigned from the school due to her role as a character in Planes para manana. The film won her the Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category, and an honorary nomination for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
