Shailene WOODLEY is an American actor, activist and writer. As a character in The Descendants, she played Alexandra King who was an addict teenager. She continued to impress after her acclaimed performance in The Descendants. Shailene was able to get her name in the Hollywood world at a young age throughout her career. This in and of itself is a great achievement. Her career began in commercials and TV then moved on to Hollywood films. She has won numerous prizes for her outstanding acting skills, such as the MTV Movie Awards. Shailene woodley, who is a well-known actor and actress is also an advocate for the environment. She and her mother established the non-profit All it Takes in 2010. In 2010, the Entertainment Industry Environmental Leadership Award was awarded to her in 2016, during the Global Green Environmental Awards 20th anniversary, in recognition of her creating The All it Takes non-profit organization.
