Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American producer and actor, is well-known for her role in the movie Ray Undercover Brother as well as appearing in The Mentalist. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Art New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actor also known as producer and director. She works in television and film. Her acting career started in the theatre. She then appeared in various television series as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character in ABC's Quantico. In BET's amazing series The Book of Negroes she appeared. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her role but was also awarded and nominations. In 1995, she was the first to appear as Ariel on stage in The Tempest. She's appeared in Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to film, she is best known for her performances in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. On television her regular role in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her the praise of her fellow actors.
